    AS Help: Any Pep Recs?

Tesamorelin has shown promise in treating fatty liver. It's similar to Ipamorelin, and they are often used together. Tesamorelin, as Egrifta, is approved for lipodystrophy. Ipamorelin can also aid in weight loss. For Tesamorelin, the usual dose is 2mg, five days on, two days off, injected at...

    GLP-1 kicking my butt...

I second the water and fiber recommendations. Sometimes, even with enough water and fiber, things can still get backed up. Magnesium citrate can help, but it's not something you want to rely on long-term. Prunes or kiwi fruit can also be a natural way to get things moving.

    GLP-1s: Bye bye cravings?

Some addiction psychiatrists are studying how these meds might treat the part of the brain responsible for addictions. I think these could be some of the most effective treatments we've ever had! I'm grateful for the research done by the pharmaceutical industry; they aren't all bad!

    AS Help: Any Pep Recs?

This is correct. Biologics are powerful medications and should NEVER be used without proper medical supervision and monitoring. There are significant risks involved.

    Ozempic for $3?!

Just be careful with compounded stuff. It's not always the same quality. Creams can vary a lot in how well they actually deliver the medication. Bloodwork helps, but it doesn't replace real testing.

New KwikPens - no extra dose!

If you're not squeamish, some people inject the pen into a sterile vile (you can find them pretty cheap online) and then use insulin syringes to draw out the exact dose.

    GLP-1 kicking my butt...

I was on 2.5mg for a couple of months, jumped to 5mg and it was waaay too much. I went down to 3.75 and it feels just right.

    Flying lighter!

It is important to remember that while these medications can be a helpful tool, they are most effective when combined with lifestyle changes. I saw someone mention they are now running races! That's fantastic.

    GLP-1s: Bye bye cravings?

This will be a lifetime med for me. I'm finishing up rehab for alcohol, and this drug just eliminates the cravings. I have diabetes, but my insurance won't pay for it. I spend money on dumber stuff, so paying out of pocket to reduce my suffering is worth it.

You mean 500 *mcg* of BPC-157, right? Not 500 *mg*?

    Suddenly ravenous on sema?!

Definitely get days where the hunger returns. That doesn’t mean the medication isn’t working. Your appetite can change depending on sleep, stress, and what you're eating.

    GLP-1 kicking my butt...

[I]*Typically*, 2.5mg isn’t considered a therapeutic dose for most. BUT since you were losing on it, and 5mg seems too strong, it very well could be therapeutic *for you*. Since your doctor didn’t suggest a middle ground dose, I’m assuming you’re in the US with the single-dose pens. If you have...
