That's awesome progress at three weeks! The weight drops faster for some of us early on, and it's such a relief when it actually works. I keep thinking about how much this stuff could help if more people could get it without breaking the bank. You're doing great - that momentum is real.
I think it's because every compliment has a little sting of what they thought *before*. Like, "You look amazing!" translates to "Wow, you looked terrible before!" And losing some pounds doesn't erase the fact you still have more to lose, etc. It's all a bit messed up in our heads.
wegovy had me in bed by 3pm some days lol. but your body adjusts. strength training and cardio helped me eat more than 500-900 calories and get my energy back. once i was eating more (still a deficit though) the tiredness leveled off.
dropped quick at 2.5mg, then stalled so i climbed slow to 5mg over a couple weeks — 40, 40, 50, 50, 60 clicks. no extra side effects, still losing steady but slower than before, which is prob good for maintaining.
Stopped TRT in 2021 after 3 weeks IM—soreness and needle anxiety got to me. Been doing subQ since January. 8-week labs looked great except DHT was low, so bumped from 120 to 180 per week. Main SQ limit is injection volume. I do 3x a week splits and it works fine.
I wish I could! I'm about three months in and still have pretty bad nausea with any exercise. All the meds barely help, so I may need to stop taking Mounjaro because I can't do the things I love.
prefer not trusting my face with ai stuff. they make cosmetic versions for a reason. fillers can break the emulsion. i know professional formulators who wouldn't use lyophilized for this. too many variables to cause problems.
I've been taking Mounjaro since last summer. I'm a live-in caregiver. I spend a month in different homes. One house has lots of stairs. The other has one flight but maintaining my clients is a workout in itself! I figure the stairs are doing something for me 😬😃
had shoulder surgery last summer and ran bpc-157, tb500, and ghk-cu for two weeks before and ten weeks after. the recovery was unreal—physical therapy progress way ahead of schedule, rom and strength both flying. still taking it easy with lighter weights but moving past what my therapist expected.
Going to the gym is a pain when you don't have time. YouTube has tons of short bodyweight workout videos. You can do them at home. 20-30 mins a few times a week is enough. Also, working your muscles gently helps knee/back pain, not resting all the time unless you have a new injury.
It's so sad to see the mods leaving some of the other GLP-1 subs. Seems like it's a thankless job sometimes. Hopefully they find good replacements who keep the community positive. link
I haven't had the side effect of things tasting different. I guess I've been lucky. However, I have noticed that I don't crave "bad" foods as much anymore. I try to adopt the attitude that no food is bad, just foods to enjoy only occasionally. It helps that the food noise from before the...
There are definitely some unrealistic expectations, some borderline disordered eating habits, and what I'd call drug-seeking behavior here. Plus, people constantly ask the same questions without ever searching the forum first. And then you have the folks who stop taking Tirzepatide for weeks so...
I couldn't agree more! I've noticed the same thing. I think a lot of us have experienced the prejudice that comes with being overweight. Because of that, we know how meaningful small acts of kindness can be. It can completely change someone's outlook. It's how we should be treating each other...
I feel you Moody-FTW, it's like waking up again! I'm finally sleeping through the night without snoring, and I can keep up with my grandkids without getting winded. Little wins add up!
Thanks for the input, everyone. I'm going to lower my test dose to 150mg split into twice-weekly injections and see if that helps bring my estrogen down. I'll also get the sensitive estradiol test done. I appreciate all the advice!
