    Gallstones from weight loss? Ouch!

I had mine out a couple years ago after experiencing the worst pain ever (like you described). I think these meds don't actually cause stones, a bad diet does. The medication may speed up the process slightly, but stones take around 10-20 years to form. Essentially, it makes something that was...

    Gallstones from weight loss? Ouch!

I've been on mine since March and I've steadily shed about 6-8 lbs per month. That's about 27lbs total. I realize it's not super fast, but I'm happy to take it slow if it means I'm (1) more likely to keep it off for good and (2) avoid awful side effects like these. A win is a win, regardless of...

Has anyone seen sema this strong?

I saw studies going up to 7.2mg each week - step up and step up t2dm. I couldn't find results, but I'm interested to see what they find.

Half a year down, more to go!

When you flex your biceps, try holding them higher and turning your palms towards your face. Great progress so far, keep up the good work!

    Sema vs Tirz: Anyone Switching?

Sema didn't do much for me, but Tirz handles the appetite okay. Problem is the food noise is still there for me.

    Down 145lb! OMG!

My eating habits have totally changed, and I keep a food diary, which is easier now that I have a better idea of the calories in most foods. I also walk daily. But I don't think I could have done any of this without the medication. It fixed most of the issues that made me gain weight, and it...

    Ozempic: One year, down 80!

That's wonderful to hear! It's definitely a process, so don't get discouraged. Sticking to high fiber and protein really helped me curb those sugar cravings, which made a HUGE difference.

    Semaglutide for weight loss? Anyone?

I was super sick when I first started. I'm reading some people are having that issue Electrolytes and anti-nausea meds seem to be helping some people.

    Semaglutide for weight loss? Anyone?

It felt like injecting water for about 5 months, but since it helps prevent diabetes, I stuck with it. Now, in month 6, it's finally working. I feel full after eating only half my usual lunch or dinner. No side effects, but it's different for everyone.
