    Suddenly craving EVERYTHING?!

Interesting. Ive been on the generic for about as long and it feels like im taking nothing. Hunger all day, chocolate and alcohol cravings, and the scale creeping up. None of that happened on Ozempic, so im going back.

    Reta's Got Me Feeling...Different

Similar for me, I overshot both my first and second targets but dont want to quit reta entirely, because it repairs part of my lifelong insulin resistance problem. So i take twice weekly at .5mg. 1 mg twice weekly gave massive suppression and thats how the weight came off. Then i panic-stopped...

    Tirz powder + BAC volume?

Split it 2x a week, Monday and Thursday or whatever suits you. Look at the lab sheet for the real mg per vial, and i usually run a bit strong and work out the math off the stated amount. (I pick 2ml BAC so the units come out even)

Weight loss stall - driving me nuts!

I count myself stalled if the scale doesnt move for a whole week, since I step on the scale every day. Weekly weigh-ins dont give a great picture. When I stall, the medicine is not where I look first. I review my daily deficit and my activity, and what changed there. Ive raised the dose only...

    Tirz on top of Reta?

Reta can go higher, but I found the appetite suppression really weak. My fix: a single mg of tirzepatide on top, and the hunger vanished.

Full Reta cycle and cycling off Reta

My reta run began at 2mg and eventually reached 10mg. Below 8mg i didnt feel that thing at all, at 10mg it hit hard, but otherwise felt great and my results-focused brain accepted the short term price since it wasnt forever. When I hit my goal I slowly stepped the dose down over a few months...

    Goal weight: Now what?

Congrats, goal reached! You might look through some maintenance communities, I dont know of any just for sema but plenty exist for Zepbound and Mounjaro. The usual first step is keeping the dose that took you to goal, then adding calories until the scale holds. The vast majority who qualify for...

    Ozempic newbie - body shock!

A week and two days in, running the .25 generic version myself. Food just doesn't interest me at all these days, have to force feeding myself. Rarely hitting my protein numbers since I'm doing well just to scrape past 900 calories. Already down 7 pounds because of it, though I'm guessing that'll...

    Mounjaro changed my life!

Started back in April. The auto injector's been a genuine lifesaver for me. I get severe reactions from self-injecting, bad enough to trigger vasovagal episodes where I pass out entirely. Zero issues using the pen though. Doesn't sting, never had a problem at the injection site, though results...

Coming off GLP-1 meds... anyone else?

Feel that completely. Was doing fine with no issues until I hit 10mg. Then came two days of brutal diarrhea. Took a full month off to let my stomach settle before restarting at 5mg. Going okay so far. If it keeps happening on a regular basis, might be worth weighing whether it's really worth it...

    Insurance hassle, AGAIN!

That's great to hear. Did your insurance decline Wegovy or Ozempic first before eventually approving Zepbound? Both mine and my husband's plans turned us down for it (I'm not diabetic though).

Hit my goal weight! RETA rocks!

Genuinely thrilled I found my way to peptides, especially once I figured out a more affordable path to them. Never thought in a million years I'd actually be able to use GLPs for weight loss. Weight's been a lifelong battle for me, been on and off diets since I was 12. Reta's been an absolute...

    Tirz prices droppin'?

Same here! Funny how a hundred thirty a month once felt like such a steal. Running a moderate compounded dose and have enough stocked up to last well over a year. Could stretch to five years total if I eventually move up to a higher dose, or much longer staying at a lower one.

    Battling the Nausea Rollercoaster

Same here! Just keep drinking plenty of water, helps settle the nausea and should keep constipation from creeping in too.

Down 70+ lbs, still feels unreal!

Thanks! Makes me feel a little less crazy honestly, lol. How's it been going for you with side effects and dose increases?

Foods you just can't stand anymore?

Used to be obsessed with a particular cupcake brand. These days they just taste like artificial sweetener and dye to me.

    Mounjaro at 10 weeks pregnant

Hi! Got pregnant with what we jokingly call our ozempic baby back in 2023. Found out at four weeks in, was on the .75 dose at the time. Happy to report the baby just turned a healthy, happy two years old this past Friday!

Fridge or no fridge after opening?

Appreciate that!! So as long as the fluid stays clean, keeping it refrigerated and wiping it down before each use should be totally fine. Also really appreciate the info about the strongest dose, giving the first one a shot tomorrow.

    Ozempic: Not a Magic Bullet?

That's exactly it - the medication makes the work doable, it doesn't do the work. When I'm focused and tracking it moves, when I'm not it doesn't. The difference is that the medication keeps me from getting to the point where I give up because the hunger becomes unbearable.

    Ozempic success...now what?

Gaining weight during the Ozempic-to-Reta transition window is the piece nobody mentions when planning the switch. A month to find the effective dose on reta while the sema clears is a rough stretch to manage. For the OP at goal and terrified of stopping, staying on a once-a-week maintenance...
