Down 50 lbs, almost a year on GLP-1!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I'm trying not to overthink it. The holidays have me eating just because the food is there, even without hunger. Should settle down once I'm back to work and my normal routine on Monday.

Pardon the question, but was a full year really the timeline for just 23.5 lbs? You look incredible, seriously, but I've read that some folks drop 20 in five months.

The running progression is real - I started with short walks and now I'm doing 5Ks without even thinking about it. A year on GLP-1 does something different to your relationship with exercise. It stops feeling like punishment and starts feeling like something you actually want.

Got diagnosed with that anhedonia thing too. My doc didn't realize I'd been on semaglutide until I mentioned it at an appointment, then everything clicked into place. Rough year dealing with it.

Exactly the same here, down about 50 in a year. And the maintaining piece you mention is what people don't talk about enough - getting there is one thing, holding it is where the real protocol work starts.

The 190 to 138 result and the mirror still showing the old version is the dysmorphia piece that therapy is actually well-suited for - the brain doesn't update the body image automatically with the scale. A year on GLP-1 plus working with a therapist is the combination that eventually closes that gap. The moment of giving yourself credit for what you've done is worth sitting with.
