Down 50+ lbs...Ozempic rules!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
60 lbs and the brain 6 months behind the body is the body image lag in its most specific form. The OP's same-outfit comparison at 53 lbs is one of the clearest ways to show it to yourself even when the brain isn't catching up. Buying things too big because the old frame of reference is still running in the background - did that eventually stop and if so when?

30 lbs in 2 months while energy was down and not feeling like doing anything is the medication doing what it does before the body adjusts. The OP at 1mg for a month with the question about not exercising - 30 lbs in that window is possible without structured exercise, the activity level just doesn't need to be formal. The energy piece usually comes back after the first few weeks.

Only adding to the top of the size scale now is the wardrobe change that takes a while to sink in. 53 lbs in 7 months on Ozempic is a strong result and the same-outfit comparison tells the story better than any number. The stack that used to be the ceiling is now the floor.

18+ months and 2-3 lbs/month at 1300-1400 cals is a sustainable pace for someone who wants to stay on it long term. 53 lbs in 7 months in the OP is a much faster start but the same medication managed differently. The consistent 1300-1400 approach producing reliable movement is exactly what the 5-year outcome looks like when you find your floor.
