I really enjoy your posts, so well laid out with tons of practical detail. Speaks straight to the spreadsheet-loving, planning-obsessed part of my brain.
Rough stretches happen, I had a tough month recently with zero forward progress, though at least I didn't gain either. And somehow, that pause may have actually helped, like giving my system a reset. There's a real mental lift that comes from recommitting to health goals after a month of letting loose.
Do you only train at home, or do you have access to heavier equipment elsewhere too? Asking because if progressive overload isn't already part of your routine, I'd really recommend it. It keeps muscles from plateauing on the same routine and builds bone density too, something that matters more as you get older, believe me, I've learned that firsthand.
You come across as genuinely strong and capable! Sounds like you're figuring out exactly how your body responds and what keeps it running well for you specifically. That's such an empowering place to be! Really happy for you, congratulations.
Looking forward to hearing how things progress!
