High T while on GLP-1s...anyone else?

Got my recent blood work back, and my T levels are still naturally high. Total T was 1040 ng/dL (range 120–810), and free T was 36 pg/mL (range 9–25). I think this is helping me hold onto muscle and feel energetic while losing weight. I'm taking 2 mg of Reta and 7.5 mg of Triz, plus a multivitamin. My aim is to drop fat, control my appetite, and keep my muscles strong. I'll post updates monthly with my weight and every three months with blood work to see how these meds affect my T and overall health. Started at 265 lbs and now I’m 231 lbs. They're not a quick fix, just tools to help me stay on track and get healthier.

Update time! One month later. I'm at 4.5mg Reta and 5mg triz. Another scan showed I'm down about 7 pounds. Still holding onto lean muscle while shedding fat.

Used that unit switch method for a while but the opposite way. Kilos feel real and emotionally charged to me. Pounds seemed too high with big jumps. Stone and pounds worked better but complicated.

Lucky you guys... I'm 40 and was diagnosed with hypogonadism in my early 20s. I only make around 100 ng/dL naturally. With TRT, I'm around 1250 and feel amazing.

How are you all managing your hematocrit? My testosterone was around 1000 ng/dL after a couple months of TRT (100mg/week), but my hematocrit shot up to 55%.

I might have missed it, but what's your dose? Splitting your weekly T dose can really help with hematocrit. Every 3-4 days seems to be the sweet spot. Also, stay super-hydrated! You can get a home hematocrit tester pretty cheap too.

Wow @Morgan07, those are great results! I'm curious if you've noticed any improvements in your A1c levels since starting the GLP-1 meds?

Following this thread with interest. I've seen some patients on GLP-1s experience unexpected improvements in blood glucose and blood pressure. Definitely worth monitoring your A1c, as @Wise_Gal320 suggested. I recently had another patient reduce their A1c from 7.7 to 6.8 after starting a GLP-1!

Thanks for sharing! Love the steady progress at low doses only titrating when needed. If those are twice weekly, right? Appreciate the consistency note and congrats on progress! What now?

Three parts to notice about that situation. One the mental side craving and actual drive. Two physical sensation when touched. Three rigidity. High doses numb all three. Late in the week when chatter creeps back so does mental drive and touch returns slow. Rigidity stays blunted months. Been using big vitamin D and that pill for rigidity only. Planning to add peptide at end of week with vitamin D and see if all three improve.
