My GLP-1 Story: Jan-Oct

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Started Wegovy in October and gym 3x weekly starting January - made a huge difference. Finished an 8-week challenge with body scan at start and end, dropped 5kg but gained 1kg muscle.

A quarter of body weight in 8 months and then maintaining for years with the statin stopped as the end result - that's the complete picture right there. The Jan-Oct trajectory in the OP is right at the start of what that looks like long term.

0.9 lbs per week average over 18 months without dramatic swings or big stalls is actually the steadiest version of this path. The biggest week at 3.5 lbs is the typical water weight pattern. 30 lbs from a 151 starting point is proportionally significant at 4'11''. Great result.

218 to 200 on your own before reaching the stall point is the work that sets the foundation. The medication breaking through a year-long stall is exactly what the OP's January to October story shows can happen. 4'11 going from 151 to 121 is a significant percentage of bodyweight. What dose unlocked it for you after the stall?

Worked here, for what it's worth. Was sitting at 7.5mg and plateaued, then a health scare forced a full month off the medication. Restarted two weeks back at 3.75mg, dropped 8 pounds that first week and another 4 the week after. So yeah, it kicked back in for me, though everybody's body handles a pause differently.

Eight months into this now, three weeks running 10mg currently. Saw absolutely zero change on 2.5 through 7.5, neither on weight nor blood sugar (I'm diabetic). Did notice a slight quieting of food noise through that stretch, just nothing showing physically even while eating noticeably less and clearing every processed or junk item out of my kitchen.

Started assuming this compound just wasn't going to click for my body, then one single week at 10 and 8-10 pounds vanished along with sugar levels falling fast too. Only downside is the side effects hit hard, nausea and constant bathroom trips, whereas 2.5 through 7.5 just left me constipated, which honestly I preferred! Want to drop back to 7.5, but that dose gave me nothing weight or sugar-wise, so hoping my body eventually adjusts to this new level instead.
