Yes, definitely talk to your doctor about it. Been on a GLP1 since 2023 myself and I'm about to go three weeks without it for an upcoming surgery. Planning to restart at the lowest dose once I'm cleared.
 
Started at a small amount eight months back for type 2 diabetes. Glucose control's improved a lot and a substantial amount of weight has come off too. Was thinking about asking the doctor about moving up, but from reading around here, staying at a lower amount until it stops working seems like the better approach. Side effects have stayed limited to occasional nausea, curious what bumping up might actually change.
