Reta not workin'?

Hey everyone, I'm a 21-year-old college student. I'm not in the best shape, around 6' and 265 lbs. I've been on Retatrutide for two weeks. The first week was great; I felt it working at 500 mcgs every three days. Now I'm at 1mg weekly, and I don't feel much. My food cravings are returning, and my appetite isn't suppressed. I mostly eat protein and fats, avoiding carbs because I do drink. Any advice on dosage or lifestyle changes?

500mcg every 3 days is more than 1mg a week... Try spacing your doses more frequently, like twice a week, and up the dose until you notice appetite reduction.

You seem like a nice young man, so I hope I don't sound too harsh. But maybe try some lifestyle changes before messing with your body at 21. Think of your body as a temple that can fix itself if you give it the right direction. Some folks need meds, but you probably don't. Maybe you just need some discipline, like most of us. Instead of meds, maybe try joining a gym and hanging around healthy people. Or, if you're lacking discipline, join the army or do a hard physical job for a year. You'd be a different person after that!

I've had mixed experiences with GLP-1s. While the appetite suppression was beneficial, the gastrointestinal side effects were a major issue. Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide disrupted my digestive system. My wife has been using Retatrutide for a few months and has seen very positive results. I'm looking to reduce some stubborn belly fat, so I've decided to try it out. After two weeks, I've lost about 8 pounds with zero adverse effects. It is still in clinical trials, but I am ordering it.

Hey Salad_Loss, that's awesome! What dose did you start with to see that kind of weight loss? Any other sides like low energy or anything? How's it going now that you've been on it longer?

I started with 1mg. I've had bad experiences with other GLP-1 drugs, so I wanted to start slow. After a week, I increased it to 2 mg and have been on that dose since. I'm planning to go to 3 mg with my next injection. I initially experienced low energy, but it has since gone away. No insomnia or brain fog. The weight loss has been impressive. I haven't weighed myself recently, but my pants are looser, and I'm back in a size 34.

Thanks for the info

I'm thinking about reta over tirz. Since I'm almost 60 just looking for a little extra help. From what I've seen reta seems to be great at this.

My wife had amazing results, like 60lbs in 8 months or something similar. Very few stomach issues. But the glucagon part of reta gives me some anxiety/insomnia, unfortunately. Even at low doses. I just need to drop like 20lbs. I got here without GLP-1s but a little appetite suppression is nice.
