Around March of last year, I started on a tiny dose of semaglutide, spacing out the injections to once a month or so. I've kept it up mainly because stopping suddenly isn't recommended, plus I think it helps with inflammation. Now, almost a year and a half later, I'm not getting any side effects at all. I've managed to keep my weight stable just by making some simple changes, like walking every day and doing some strength training for half an hour. I wasn't really an overeater to begin with. In fact, I was undereating for years, which I think messed up my metabolism. The great news is that my metabolism seems to have recovered. I can eat two or three proper meals each day and still not gain weight. It's such a relief. My ultimate goal is to stop the shots altogether, but for now, I feel really good.
