Tirz isn't working for me... help?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Opposite for me. I used to get daily headaches but not on tirzepatide. The only theory is decreased inflammation somehow affecting brain or vessels. Wonder if that change triggers headaches in other folks.

Sometimes I wonder if people would call me out for the third person thing. Jimmy's hitting a wall... Jimmy's med stopped working... Jimmy's frustrated now.

I'd typically suggest betaine HCl plus pepsin for this - cheap and often effective. Reflux paired with burping sometimes points to low stomach acid. If your pH isn't dropping enough, it won't signal the esophageal sphincter to seal. Though with reduced gut motility, you might be dealing with fermentation instead, where probiotics could turn the tide. Really hinges on what you're consuming.

The frozen reconstituted issue is worth investigating if efficacy has dropped. Degradation after freeze-thaw cycles is real - the consensus here is to avoid freezing reconstituted peptide. At week 3 of 12.5mg with no movement, storage and reconstitution process are worth checking before assuming dose failure.

no appetite suppression at 3mg week 7 and still losing from exercise and habits is actually a useful thing to share in this thread. for the OP on tirz - some people just do not get the suppression effect and have to rely on the behavioral side anyway. have you noticed any change in cravings or food preferences even without the full suppression feeling?

One person experience on Tirz vs Reta is just one data point but it is useful. Some people genuinely don't respond to one and switch completely and find the other hits differently. If you are not feeling any appetite suppression at all at 12.5mg, that is worth flagging to your doctor before pushing higher.

Sitting roughly 10 lbs from goal. Figured I could just coast holding at 5mg tirz, but the pace slowed to nearly nothing. Bumped up to 7.5 this week and now I'm right back to how things felt at the very start. Have to set alarms just to remember eating. Slow's supposedly the smart approach, but at half a pound weekly, that last stretch is going to eat up five whole months, ugh.

Been on tirz for what feels like a long stretch now. Started at a much higher weight and am currently hovering in a narrower range these days, bouncing a pound or two either direction.

It slowly became clear tirz might not be doing much anymore, likely the reason behind these stretched-out plateaus. That's what's pushing a switch toward eloralintide, with another newer option on the radar as a backup plan if that doesn't pan out either, though not ready to walk away from tirz completely just yet.

Hi everyone!!
Running the original compound for beyond twelve months at this point, sitting at a fairly high amount for a while. Currently transitioning over to a different one. About a month in, and honestly nothing's registered yet. Right now I'm at 2mg of the new compound weekly plus 7.5mg of the original, split across different days. Stuck at this exact standstill for quite a stretch now, weight staying completely flat. Feeling almost defeated since everyone else seems to see such dramatic recomposition results, and I've felt basically nothing. I do stay active though, pole and Pilates classes at least three sessions weekly.
That's really it; hoping to connect with other slow responders to vent with, or pick up tips on staying patient LOL
