Vision probs on GLP-1s?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Aren't diabetics already more likely to have vision issues anyway? Ozempic, which is sema, was originally made for them.

My eyesight is terrible in both eyes. Started when I was a teen. Nearsightedness, astigmatism, the whole shebang.

Am I the only one who is waiting for more bad news about these drugs? Honestly, if there's a 0.5% chance of vision loss, that's a much better trade-off than other health problems that being overweight can cause. I'll take it!

Pick your battles, I guess. A small chance of vision issues when I'm older is probably preferable to a heart attack at the same age.

I'm not sure about this study. How can they assume that 1 in 200 people will have vision loss after 20 years of sema use? I assume that in 2 decades of diabetes, at least 1 person will have vision loss from *not* using sema. I'm not a scientist, though.

This YouTube video is super boring. If you're a statistician or a doctor running similar studies, maybe it's helpful. They barely talk about the study.
