Whoa, didn't see THAT coming!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
That's really interesting - I didn't see that show up on my bloodwork when I was on it before. Be curious to know if it's settled down by now.

First thing I did was double my TRT dose—was only 50mg a week. Keeping a food log, eating smaller meals every 2.5 hours. 1900 calories, 140g protein, 25g fiber daily. Gym every day plus walks after lunch and dinner. Just ordered a 40mg kit of Mots-C, ships next week.

See an obesity medicine specialist. They can add other meds that help. If you can, add strength training — I lift 3x a week — and some cardio (walking counts). Check out r/antidietglp1 for more support too.

The empty stomach plus GLP-1 morning issue is one of the more common early mistakes - the medication increases sensitivity to stomach acid when there's nothing in there, which is different from nausea caused by eating too much. A small protein-first breakfast prevents both.

Part of the weight coming off was just not being hungry enough to eat, plus dealing with frequent bathroom trips that also cut into eating. Definitely happened fast, I agree, and now I'm working on packing muscle back on.

Congratulations! Definitely get yourself a full-body mirror, not for vanity but for realism. Seeing my body regularly helped upgrade my brain's perception of my size. It sinks in after a while, barely noticeable at first. (I saw it clearly during a previous regain, back before GLP-1s, how used to my slimmer look I'd become. But that's another story.)

Well done. Past a certain level of obesity, shedding weight is a slow slog even with glp drugs easing it. It's gradual, so your brain adjusts to your daily appearance and misses changes, while the mental image of your start keeps getting overwritten. Credit yourself for what's been achieved, since long term health risks have probably dropped a lot even with no more loss. For me the clearest signal was climbing hills, where each 10 kilos made a huge difference. Clothes went from 7xl to 3xl because they looked ridiculous, next xl, and downward. I'm 64 kg now, from 145, and my belly area still looks a bit heavy, since the leftover excess sits in my lower abdomen.
